The IRS released a statement indicating that taxpayers who file itemized deductions may file their tax returns on February 15, 2011 and thereafter. You can go ahead and prepare your returns, if you like, but you will need to wait until 2/15/11 to file. Of course, you can send your information to me and I can prepare your return, if you like.
